This is my second group experiment. This experiment is about why leaves wilt and why vegetables/fruits becomes a bit wet when you leave it. I've learned osmosis from this experiment, which is the movement of molecules from a place to another place, the water inside the cucumber comes out from the cucumber and goes into the salt water. The salt water however, only little water comes inside the cucumber because of the salt blocking it.
This is my third group experiment. This experiment is about what a cell needs to carry life processes. I've learned that cells (yeast in this case) also need water and oxygen, and it releases carbon dioxide as a waste product. The water should also be the right temperature, otherwise it will affect how cells live. Yeast also use fermentation, or anaerobic respiration, which doesn't use oxygen to reproduce/live.
This is my fourth group experiment, This experiment is about am plant's cell wall. We put food coloring and water to the onion skin and then look at the microscope. In the microscope, we see hexagon-like shapes, those shapes are the cell wall. After doing the experiment, we tried to see what cells are in the human skin and the hair.
